In response to some comments from Saturday's post, here's the proof: camel races exist! With even some ostrich racing, too.

It's a strange world we live in, I know.

    I used to live in Fallon NV and would go to VA City all the time to mine for gold (I was around 12 at the time)...what a great place...I had forgotten about it since I haven't lived there in about 13 years!

    Looks like fun!

    Wait, what?? I just recently found your blog and I had NO IDEA you lived in Northern Nevada. I'm in Reno myself. Actually, I was born here and I have yet to go to the camel races... Man, I need to fix that next year. :)
