It's funny what a little piece of paper inside of a cookie can do for you. I stumbled upon this last night when my boyfriend brought over chow mein for me. So, without further ado, July 29, here I come!

I love band geeks

I have three different stories to write today at work and all I can seem to do is pine after this Balmain crystal-embellished canvas jacket. Sigh. This is perhaps the one and only time I regret never having done marching band in high school. Looks like I'll just have to hunt down some band kids today. Right after I get to these stories...writer's block anyone?

I'll keep up on the marching band jacket hunt though and keep you all posted. Wish me luck!

Envy Couture fashion show

Here we are, lovelies. I'll be modeling for Junkee Clothing Exchange, owned by Jessica Schneider, perhaps one of the raddest women I know. Her store displays are always a funky vintage mix of everything from old telephones and suitcases to umbrellas hanging up everywhere. Needless to say, she has quite an eye for design and I'm honored to be part of her somewhat more regular fashion shows.

C-c-c-coachella!

Alright, while there is plenty more where this came from, here's a snippet of the infamous and exhausting weekend of Coachella. Lots of good music, interesting art and meeting Devendra Banhart. In summary: AMAZING (despite my horrible sunburn).
