a quick hello from summer

Every once in a while, summer tries to pop in and say hello during winter. On those occasions in San Francisco, everyone and their dog runs to the beach. (Bundled in light jackets, of course, because San Franciscans don't really know how to dress down for warm weather.)

As for myself, I was attempting to channel a rad 70s vibe, with wide stovepipe flares, loose blouse, broken in leather jacket and a turban headband. And after our picnic of quesadillas and goldfish crackers (woo hoo!), proceeded to take a little nap on the beach in said outfit.

Beautiful Saturday if you ask me!

Jacket: Leather jacket, Marshalls
Blouse: Floral print button front blouse, Urban Outfitters
Jeans: Wide stovepipe flares, Simply Vera, via Kohls
Turban: Chiffon turban, American Apparel
Shoes: Tan heels, vintage via Crossroads

    "San Fransicans don't know how to dress down for warm weather." Cracked me up. I'm in Nebraska, and we hit 40* one day this week, and I was excited to only wear a sweater.
