Having recently re-watched "The Graduate" again makes me laugh every time I look at the Bay Bridge now. For all of two epic scenes where Dustin Hoffman is driving in his little red convertible to see Elaine, who is studying in Berkeley, he's driving the wrong way on the bridge -- each time to San Francisco, not to Berkeley. Understandably, they didn't want him driving the correct direction, since it would require him to use the lower, covered portion of the bridge, and hence, less epic.

But still. Now you know.

Use that for your next movie trivia night!

Dress: Long floral maxi, Asos
Vest: Black formal vest, Urban Outfitters,
Shoes: Suede heels, Charlotte Ronson
Purse: Cream leather clutch, vintage

  2. I had no idea of that! I've watched the movie many times, and I've visited the bay but not a native so I would've never guessed! Funny to know!
