By now, you've probably noticed my little obsession with matching pant and skirt suits, either in bold colors (like this time or this time) or in statement prints (like this recent one). And I can't help it really, I just love that you can take something so polished and pulled together like a professional, work-appropriate suit and practically turn it on it's head with color or pattern choice.
Do you guys rock matchy-matchy suits? Would love to see how you style yours!
i like the navy. the hem is really nice.
ReplyDeletebig fan of your blog - would love if you checked mine out.x

I typically don't wear my suits together, always separately, but maybe if I had a brightly colored one, I'd be more apt to wear the pieces together.

I have never worn a matchy suit ensemble but I would totally rock the middle look in navy with a black silk tank. Black/Blue is my go to combo.

If I worked in an office, I would wear crazy bright pantsuits like that pink one all the time!
ReplyDeleteI love the suit, so classic. Never tried a bright printed one, that may be a future option for me.
ReplyDeleteThat pink pantsuit is to die for! I love it together, but both of those pieces would work so fabulously as mix-and-match separates too.

I am definitely into the matchy matchy if the suits are in a bright bold colour.....not if they are grey or brown. It's a full body statement piece!

I tend to mix and match my suit components to give it a different look. I rarely wear matchy matchy suits these days. I love the bold colors and the cut of the pieces here.

I don't often rock suits in any color other than black (I do have a light pink blazer, but no matching bottom), but I am head over heels for that bright pink one!!! The middle one is pretty good looking too. Hmmm...

I love wearing suits in bold colors. I wore a pastel suit in my recent post paired with cheetah print sweater
ReplyDeletehttp://fashberries.blogspot.com/2012/01/pastel-suited.html
I love the pink set. I like the idea of a matching suit as long as you throw in a patterned blouse or crazy statement necklace. Your yellow and lace matching pieces were gorgeous!

The great glory of travel, to me, is not just what I see that's new to me in countries visited, but that in almost every one of them I change from an outsider looking in to an insider looking out. Flights to Bogota
ReplyDeleteI am loving those blazers!!!
