Sweater: No label; Jeans: Zara (love this Asos pair too); Shoes: Zara; Bag: Zara; Sunglasses: Ray-Ban; Jewelry: H&M necklace, Emerson Made necklace, Michael Kors watch, J. Crew chain bracelet, assorted gifted bangles
After drooling over the Dries van Noten dip dyed jeans for far too long, I practically jumped when the Zara equivalent was released. But now, I have to admit, it has me contemplating future dip dye DIY projects. Chambray shirt perhaps? Shorts maybe? Maybe even a boyfriend jean alternative? Looks like I might have my work cut out for me this weekend.
How about you guys? Will you be trying out some dip dye projects anytime soon?
Update: Check out how my lovely friend Heather styled her dip dyed pair!
Awesome effect Krystal!

So fab!
ReplyDeleteunfortunately, with something as delicate as dip dye, which can go array so easily, (whoa, check out those poetics), i am such a nervous nelly i would fear it would just look crappy. granted, if you are testing it out on an old or consigned piece, that is fine, but the factory manufactured pieces may end up looking more clean, though, at the cost of character potentially.
ReplyDeleteshare some pictures if you do it.

I too have been thinking about taking a pair of my old jeans and dip-dying them. Perhaps a great weekend for it? LOVE these jeans and at the end of the day, if my DIY doesn't turn out I can always cave and go buy them :) Love this outfit and your blog, it's inspired my blog and my style so much! Wish I could have met you at Lucky FABB! Have a great Wednesday :)
