carried away





Shirt: Rodarte for Opening Ceremony; Skirt: Jaeger (first worn here); Shoes: B. Brian Atwood c/o; Clutch: Kate Spade (also love this quirky one); Sunglasses: Karen Walker; Jewelry: Jewel Mint earrings


While I was not a fan of the second installment of the "Sex and the City" movie series for too many reasons I won't go into now -- I was (and am still) quite smitten with this outfit that Carrie wore to the market or souq in Abu Dhabi. Whimsy but still semi-grounded with a casual tee -- perfectly Carrie and perfect for my own day of casual shopping. Not at a souq mind you, but trust me, it's on my travel bucket-list.

    That was one of my (many) favourite Carrie outfits! I LOVE your version Krystal - such a great contrast of boyish tee, verrrrrry pretty skirt and fierce heels. The colours work really well together, the outfit kinda looks like it's thrown together, but of course it really isn't! Looks so fabulous sweetie!

    I love it!!!
    For visiting a Souq Abu Dhabi or better UAE, is not a good place to go. They doesn´t exist there actually! You can find there nice Malls, but no Souqs ;)

    The movie was actually filmed in Morocco not Abu Dhabi, total mis-conception! However, your always welcome to Dubai!
