After much stalking (online and off), I finally found a kaleidoscope piece to sit atop some of my coffee table books at a new-to-me decor haunt -- Gump's. It was surprisingly easy on the wallet (grabbed it for $40!), which was great considering I've been drooling over this Kelly Wearstler beauty for quite some time now.
A few beauty favorites as of late: 1.) Philosophy lotion (now I understand what all the fuss is about!) and 2.) Hourglass primer (makes my skin feel like pearls!). Also, I'm on a mission to collect more Diptyque candles as they double as wonderful makeup and bathroom containers.
The man friend and I are in the process of looking for a new apartment, which gives us a fun excuse to walk all over the city for neighborhood inspiration. This past Sunday we wound up in Chinatown.
Scored these Chanel booties MAJORLY on sale at one of my favorite SF designer discount stores Jeremy's -- after a little love from the cobbler, they should be in perfect working order!
Stopped by the Ferry Building to stock up on some cheese from Cowgirl Creamery (Humboldt Fog and Rimrocker for the win!) and couldn't get over this cleverly cheeky sign for a Gelato shop.
Finally getting around to framing this vintage Vogue cover print, which will promptly be added to my gallery wall soon after. Perhaps I'll even drape some jewelry on the frame -- this Yochi necklace matches quite nicely, no?
Necklace is adorable!

I love so many of the images in this post! Cool on getting a place with your bf, you will love it! Those chanel booties are pretty freaking cool and I cannot wait to see how you style them. Also the idea of hanging jewelry on home items. I have a favorite necklace that I never wear anymore because I think it looks better as a head garland for my cow skull!

ReplyDeleteBy the way, can you talk a little more about the Hourglass primer? I use the mineral veil one and I love it, but I am looking for something to give my skin a little more life in the winter.

I love that Hourglass primer. I read about it on In the Gloss and haven't been able to part with it since. Who knew that putting an "oily" substance on "oily" skin would great magic? <3
