summer staple

This dress usually marks the beginning of summer for me. Truth be told, I've had it for several years now (just a random purchase at Zara) and every time I think to sell or donate it, I always end up saving it from the discard pile. I like to think of it as my Carrie Bradshaw dress, perfect for weekend brunch (or in this case, an impromptu wine and dinner date) with the gals.

    Gorgeous dress! I wish you had posted more pics. You're absolutely right, the first time you put on a dress does feel like it's the beginning of summer. Funnily enough, I posted a similar look on my blog today of a strapless dress I wore over the weekend.

    This dress is very Carrie Bradshaw! It is amazing how much of an emotional hold clothes can have on us when we think about letting something go.
