sunset chasing

This weekend was one for the books. We managed to fit in a whole day of wine tasting and general romping around in Napa for my friend Heather's birthday, a beach bonfire (which was a first for me!), Easter dinner with family and friends and this epic sunset off Highway 1. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day, week over week, but weekends like this one remind me just how incredibly thankful I am for everything I have in my life.

As for this dress? Well I have to say I can definitely get behind this whole 90s slip dress trend going on. Especially with a slouchy cardigan shrugged ever so slightly off your shoulders. Speaking of, this cardigan from Everlane (which is quickly becoming my go to for all my basics) has pretty much been my weekend layer MVP as of late.
