rough around the edges

Sweater: Eddie Baur (similar style here); Dress: Asos (from last year, similar style here); Boots: Isabel Marant; Hat: J.Crew (old, but dying for this version here); Bag: Saint Laurent; Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

These. Boots. Where to start? I've been eyeing this pair of Marants since her Fall 2014 collection debuted, debating when and for how much they would go on sale for. As luck would have it, I popped into one of my favorite San Francisco boutiques, Curve, this past weekend to find their last pair, in my size, at 70% off. Kismet, no?

I love how they add a little bit of punk to an otherwise demure outfit, a huge reason why I admire her work so much in the first place. It's equal parts "it" Parisian girl, bohemian, with a dash of edgy punk. Rough around the edges so to speak.
