Sweater: Lord & Taylor; Skirt: Lord & Taylor; Shoes: Henri Lepore Dezert; Sunglasses: YSL; Bag: Brahmin
If you've been following along on Instagram, you may have noticed I'm in Utah at the moment, kicking my feet up on the dashboard of a Mustang convertible and watching the sunset in different national parks along the way. But, let's rewind a week back to fashion week.
This particular outfit was probably one of my favorites and easily one of the fastest ones thrown together at the last minute. This past fashion week was also one of my busiest -- which I'm by no means complaining about -- it just meant a lot of mornings started out with an early shoot with Lydia before leaving my apartment for the day, hopping to meetings, shows, events and eventually dinner and drinks with girlfriends to finally rest our feet and swap stories from the day.
Thankfully, I've gotten pretty good at packing the New Yorker bag -- one that contains exactly what I need for the day. Phone chargers, a few granola bars, a makeup bag for touchups, a small hand fan (because those Subways get hot!) and, while we're on the topic, a small army of Metro cards (because I'm notorious for forgetting that I have balance on one card and end up buying a new card). The lifesaver of the bunch, of course, is the pair of flats that I neatly tuck away. It may sound like a lot (and oftentimes, it is for a lot of my bags) but this Brahmin backpack was the ultimate fashion week secret weapon -- it fit everything, with a bit of room to spare -- and I love how it added an unexpected element to my outfits.
This post was in collaboration with Brahmin. As always, all opinions and styling are my own. Thank you for supporting all This Time Tomorrow collaborations!
It looks like a great bag, but that skirt steals all the attention. It looks wonderful on you, such a great piece! :)
