nyfw prabal gurung

There are no words to describe my experience at the Prabal Gurung show. Aside from spotting some of my all-time favorite style icons in the crowd from Ms. Taylor Tomasi Hill herself to the always charming (and always smiling) Bill Cunningham, the pieces in the show literally took my breath away. Exaggerated visors. Sheer embellished trains on gowns sprinkled with feathers. Gunmetal collars emblazoned with longhorns.  Dramatic side slits.

Such a perfect mix of evening glamour and quirky edge. Needless to say, I'm still pinching myself after this one!

Want more? Be sure to check out my good friend Heather's coverage of the backstage madness that ensued just before the models hit the runway! Still want more? Stay tuned later today to see what I wore to the show.

  15. I'm a fan of the blue eyeshadow! I enjoyed the contrast against the gold, especially considering it's usually the other way around-blue clothing with accenting gold shadows. Bold makeup is excellent!
