Jacket: Zara; Dress: 10 Crosby Derek Lam; Shoes: Celine; Veiled beanie: DIY
I bought this birdcage veil months ago and only recently got around to following this tutorial from Honestly WTF. Well, by follow, I mean I had every intention of sewing the veil onto the beanie but since I was technically borrowing it from the man friend, I figured it would be best to tie instead. I'm sure he's relieved to hear that, right Dan? :)

How fun! I would have never thought to put a veil and a beanie together, but it looks great! I love the mixture of styles (leather + vintage + trendy) in your outfit. Fantastic!

What ever happened to the days when ladies wore hats and gloves? Totally ingenious to wear a veil with a beanie, a very modern take on the classics! Is that a dress or is it a skirt and blouse? I wish I could see!
