Alright, after much debate (mainly around timing), the Istanbul trip has been booked! Which means, ready, set, GO! Would love any and all trip recommendations you guys may have (thank you again for all your sweet emails in the past -- our New Zealand/Australia and London trips wouldn't have been the same without them!). I've been researching like mad already (naturally) but haven't started compiling a list past this hot air balloon ride.
Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend with plenty of BBQs, friends and fireworks.
Love the top! Great jeans too!

Turkey is awesome. Istanbul is clean and easy to navigate. Ephesus is a must see. Head to the Turkish coast to Kas if you can. You can see the Greek islands from the coast, and we saw some pristine ancient ruins that weren't overrun with tourists. We snorkeled over some sunken ruins there, which I'll never frget.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the hot air balloon ride is worth it. Stay in the cave hotel too! Feel free to contact me if you need more scoop @bmoreloveleigh on Instagram

Oh goodness Istanbul. It is incredible. I went on a quick 4 day trip a few years ago an have yearned to go back ever since. Mama Shelter is amazing to stay and have drinks on the rooftop bar http://www.mamashelter.com/en/istanbul/guide/
ReplyDeleteThe Agia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace are just incredible, and the Souk is unmissable. Just wander around lots and soak it all up. Its one of those cities where it feels good to just get a little lost in it!
