second chances

I went through a phase in college where I loved gaucho pants (and usually of the jersey knit variety -- yes, I know, I know, no judgement, OK?). But since we're all about second chances around here (hello, Birkenstocks!), I have to admit I'm all about this wide leg cropped pant thing going on now. Granted, they're harder to pull off for someone around 5'4" (5'5" on a good day, mind you) but that's where cropped tops come in beautifully. I threw on a white blazer later on in the evening once it got cooler and instantly felt a tad bit Annie Hall chic (and Diane Keaton can do no wrong in my book).

    I LOVED gaucho pants when I was in college. I remember picking up a pair at Express and showing up to Sorority Chapter and all the girls were like "ooohhh! those are so cool!" Yeah...not so much! LOL

    I'd love to see a post on shoe care, since you've made it clear you're quite the fanatic! I feel so guilty, almost immediately after a purchase, because of how easily they get ruined (i.e. scuffs, rips) and after blowing a good chunk of money! : (

    Just gorgeous, and I am in love with those gaucho pants. I have always been a big fan of them. Sadly I haven't been able to find the perfect pair for me. I wish I would have saved the ones I owned when I was younger LOL.

    I am right there with you in the gaucho college trend, I practically lived in mine for early AM classes...though they were never as chic as yours! Love how you styled them with the barely crop top - very chic!
