Well I'm finally back up in northern California after a brief and exhaustingly exciting jaunt through LA! Some of you may have already followed along in the Lucky Fabb fun via my tweets but to recap, here are what I considered the highlights:
1.) Getting to meet some of my big internet girl crushes like Who What Wear powerhouses Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power and the incredibly sweet Wendy of Wendy's Lookbook. Women like them rock. Enough said.
2.) Oggling over some of the most inventive shoe, jewelry and purse displays around. I mean, shoes assembled in a fireplace to look like fire? Brilliant. I just wish I had a fireplace so I could try it myself.
3.) Listening to Elizabeth Banks, who has a dry, quick wit that I admire (not to mention her Alexander McQueen dress and Jean-Michel Cazabat had everyone in the audience drooling).
4.) Um, Janie Bryant (costume designer for Mad Men) and Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper!) in the house? Done and done. I loved their chemistry together!
5.) Supporting ladies like the darling Aimee of Song of Style, Geri of Because I'm Addicted and Jenni of I Spy DIY (whose book you should scoop up ASAP!). And on a total side note: Does anyone know who makes Geri's skirt? You all know I'm a total sucker for quirky prints (especially if I can snag a matching top to it).
6.) And of course, hanging out with friends, both old and new!
