This past Saturday marked the biggest highlight of my Fashion Week thus far -- covering the backstage madness at the Prabal Gurung Spring/Summer 2013 show (insert largest smile ever here). While I edit down the massive amount of photos I took, I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite backstage moments -- from the misty atmosphere in Pier 57 to models sneaking in some light reading while getting their makeup done.

Someone pinch me -- this is really happening.

I'm excited to announce that this Saturday, I'll be covering the backstage happenings at Prabal Gurung's Spring/Summer 2013 show (!!) alongside my good friends Heather and Alicia. Being a longtime fan of Prabal's work (case in point, see here and here) I can't wait to get a sneak peek at the madness that ensues behind the curtain before the show begins. Make sure you tune in for all my Twitter and Instagram updates at 10 a.m. EST and if you can't wait to see all the full looks (let's admit it, who wants to wait?) you can peep the collection live starting at 12 noon EST on the Prabal Gurung Facebook page.

To prepare for the big day -- and trust me -- preparations are in order, we had the amazing opportunity earlier this week to stop by Prabal's new office in the Garment district to partake in, what else, but a little dress up. (I might need someone to pinch me again, here). Be sure to check out how Heather and Alicia style their looks as well!
