bloglovin'

You guys don't need me to tell you that there are a lot of great blogs out there. A lot. And many more that get unsurfaced every day (such is the beauty of the internet, no? Inspiration abounds!). But how to organize it without overloading my bookmark bar and inevitably crashing my computer?  (True story, actually.)

Cue Bloglovin'.

Bloglovin', which you guys undoubtedly don't need me to tell you about it, is a great way to keep track of and read all your favorite blogs in one central place. Added bonus: you only receive updates when something new is posted, thereby taking a lot of the guesswork out of checking blogs on a daily basis. What I really love though? If you're ever feeling a bit lacking in the inspiration department, it's perfect for finding and sourcing new blogs to follow (like this gem I found just last week!)

Want to know more? Simply watch the video above or you can start following my blog on Bloglovin' here. Hope to see you guys on there!

kaleidoscope

Sweater: Zara (recent); Skirt: Zara, (recent): Jacket: Zara; Shoes: Brian Atwood; Bag: London Fog; Sunglasses: Karen Walker; Jewelry: J. Crew chain bracelet, assorted gifted bangles, Michael Kors watch

Who knew that a kaleidoscope print skirt would be so much fun to add into the work-wear mix?

sorel style challenge: three of a kind

Back in September, my lovely coworkers, Rebecca, Meghan and I attended the Lucky Fabb Conference in NYC where we were gifted these adorably functional Sorel boots. Of course, we all immediately started planning our cabin getaways where we would style these for a romp through the snow and chopping down Christmas trees -- but figured it would be even more fun to challenge ourselves to see how we would incorporate them into our normal work attire. Not being much of a function first kind of gal when it comes to shoes (I just love crazy heels too much!), I have to admit, I'm rather hooked on these guys and believe me, these will be the first thing I pack when I do head up to Tahoe in a few short weeks!

In the meantime, you should check out how Rebecca, Meghan and our good friend Maria all styled their boots!

{under}statement

Blazer: Zara (similar style here); Shirt: Madewell; Pants: Club Monaco (similar style here); Shoes: Christian Louboutin; Bag: London Fog; Sunglasses: Fred Flare; Jewelry: c/o Spike the Punch

It's amazing to me how leather pants can transform almost any blazer and shirt combo. A girl can never have too many understated statement pieces like that, no?

And while we're on the subject of statement pieces -- enter my giveaway now and you could snag a $300 Beso shopping spree to pick up some statement pieces of your own (or for others, if you're still wrapping up presents!). Hurry though -- I'm drawing a winner on December 21 and that clock, she is a' tickin'!
