Let's take a poll: So the last time I did anything with my hair was circa 2008, when I took the plunge and chopped these bangs you see now. Of course, this was BB (before my blog) so you guys never witnessed the transformation.
How do we feel about chopping a little Alexa Chung longer bob? I don't know what I would do with the bangs just yet, if I would keep them or grow them out, I'm still trying to envision the whole look of it still.
Show of hands, all in favor, say "I'm a rotten cucumber."
Ha, or just raise your hand. Either way.

I am a rotten cucumber - possibly!
ReplyDeleteI think everyone desires a change every now and then. But your hair is gorgeous! I think the longer bob is a good way to keep showing off your healthy hair.
go for it! its hair, it grows back ;)
ReplyDeletebeautiful skirt and bag!
ReplyDeletei'm a rotten cucumber!!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to chop my hair into a similar bob, but keep chickening out. I blogged about it like 3 months ago and my hair is still long as we speak.
It's just hair, but... it's hair! :)
Love the skirt! :)
ReplyDeletealways just go for haircuts. I dont believe in hanging onto hair - it will grow back! i think you'de look great with a tousled bob, especially with bangs.

My hand is raised! Just chop it already.
ReplyDeletethat would go so well with you - and that outfit.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely do it!! I think that cut would look great on you! I actually have the Alexa cut with bangs... I also took the plunge because I had done nothing with my hair for a couple years :) It feels sooo good right after the cut... like you lost weight from hair, lol!

I love your hair the way you current have it. I think it adds a lot to your personal style. At the same time though I can relate to wanting to chop it all off being I did the same thing myself earlier this year. I guess it's one of those things where if you're debating it, just go do it. Best part about hair is it always grows back. :-)
ReplyDeleteha i'm having the exact same dilemma--it's been four years since i've cut my hair (the only major change was my bangs) and now i'm also contemplating the big crop! maybe if you cut it off it will inspire me to (finally) do the same! :) i think it would look fabulous on you!

ReplyDeletethese shoes are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteChoppy bangs are fun! Love this look, such a great little two toned bag.
ReplyDeleteGo for it! A long bob is a nice way to make a change without being too drastic... plus, it's easy to grow out!
ReplyDeleteThe cut would totally look great on you.. I think if you decide to go for it, the bangs should be a little longer to blend in.. but either way, it would look fab.
ReplyDeleteLovely skirt!! I like the pleating detail.
xx Love & Aloha
I definitely think you should go for it! I had shoulder length hair and cut is pixie short. I can honestly say, it's soooo much easier! Going with a long bob is a great way to see if you like your hair shorter, without a huge shock to you. I've had mine as long as yours before and cut it all off. Then grown it out, changed colors, etc. I think you would look stunning with that hair style! (And you can always pin your bangs under the rest of your hair if you are wanting them to grow out, though bangs would probably look cute with what you are going for.) Can't wait to see your new look!!
ReplyDeleteXO from OH
i think a clean shoulder-lenght haircut would really work with the bangs!!no layering though, just straight cut!loving the bag!!

I will forever love that bag. I love pairing my denim oxford unexpectedly with random pieces too, very cute!

Firstly, I need to get myself a denim button down PRONTO. Like, I needed it yesterday.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I'm a rotten cucumber.
I'm a rotten cucumber... but I'd die for your long locks as they are.

ReplyDeleteI'm a rotten cucumber!
ReplyDeleteI think it'd be a fantastic change!!
I think it would look cute, but I never advise cutting off hair. I chopped my long locks and still regret it.
ReplyDeleteanother rotten cucumber reporting for duty!
ReplyDeleteI despise her hair.

Go for it!! why not...

I love that black pleated skirt!
ReplyDeleteAs for the hair, I am an advocate of keeping it long but perhaps that's only because I am so petrified of cutting my own hair more than a trim. If you want a change though, you should go for it!
Great outfit. Love the bag! I'm a fan of the long hair!
