primary

Dress: Zara (last seen here, similar version here); Scarf: Vintage; Shoes: Louboutin; Bag: Celine; Sunglasses: Karen Walker (loving the Number Twos); Jewelry: J. Crew chain necklace, Michael Kors watch

I've had this image of Giovanna Battaglia saved for quite some time now -- hesitant to try it myself since I wasn't really sure if I could pull off the whole scarf-tied-around-the-waist look quite as effortlessly as she can. Then I figured -- why not? That's the fun part about fashion -- experimenting! I think my friend Lauren Goodman summed it up best when she was describing her style in a recent interview with Refinery29

"Two parts classic. One part fashion victim."

Sometimes you just gotta try to see what works for you and what doesn't

On another note, I'm unintentionally channeling my inner Google colors here. Nerd alert! ;)
