velvet-ita

Mmm...there's something about velvet that makes you want to snuggle it all day. Today was one of those days, although it was admittedly too hot for this outfit come noon. Luckily, the cut off shorts off set that a bit.

In other news, after reading through some comments from the previous post, someone tipped me off as to how American Apparel has their own archive of submitted Halloween costumes. Gold mine! I eventually figured mine out (which shall remain a secret for now) but the American Apparel ad and Bjork costumes were close runner ups.

And for the gents, will someone please don the "Dick in a Box?" And send me a photo afterward.

Jacket: Velvet blazer, Urban Outfitters
Shirt: Lace ruffle blouse, Lush
Shorts: Jean cut off shorts, Abercrombie
Tights: Black sheer tights, Target
Shoes: Black wedges, Aldo

And, yes, one of the "gents" should totally do that for Halloween. So funny.

  12. So my husband is considering something that one-ups the Dick in the Box. I'm a little emabarrassed to say he wants to wear a blue box (recycling container) around his neck and be a Smurfette. Yup... proud me.
