to the kid living upstairs from me...

To the eight-year old kid living upstairs from me, please, please, please stop screaming. I am this close to going up there and telling you that Santa doesn't exist.

Go ahead, kid. Try me.

On a lighter, I-want-to-put-out-positive-vibes-into-the-universe note, today was beautiful. Warm, clear, no rain and the light at 4 this afternoon was perfect. Suz and I strolled around during a break at work and stumbled upon this post office. The faded mint green and rust pink colors were too tasty to pass up.

And might I just add, I have been in love with this particular jacket for quite some time now. I remember spotting it at ModCloth around Christmas time, but put it on the back burner in the spirit of Christmas and already over-charged credit cards. It arrived yesterday at work and I haven't really pulled it off since! It's a lightweight leather/suede combo and buttery to the touch! And don't get me started on that drape. I die.

Oh, the yellow lips you ask? No, no neon collagen injections for me. The lovely folks at Lulu Guinness sent me this cute, "Lips" clutch. How fun, right?

Jacket: Urban Icon Jacket, courtesy of ModCloth
Shirt: Black tank top, can't remember where I got it?
Jeans: White skinny distressed jeans, PacSun
Shoes: Black platform pumps with studs, Steve Madden
Clutch: Yellow lips clutch, courtesy of Lulu Guinness

P.S. OK, OK. I won't go burst that kid's bubble about Santa. But if he tries this again at 6 a.m., I can't be held responsible for early morning grogginess.

ModCloth is a lovely sponsor of This Time Tomorrow.

  1. You're the realest (is that a word?) fashion blogger, my favorite fashion blog to read BY FAR. No trying too hard, you don't seem competitive but like you blog for yourself and not others, your sweet, sarcastic personality comes through, and you remix mostly affordable items like a real life person and look like a million bucks doing it every single time - you are such a big inspiration to me! xo Leah

  2. I remember seeing this jacket featured on Modcloth, but was much chagrined at the steep price... the way you pull it off and the way you rave about it is enviable! The drapery, I die too.

But neon collagen lips, you can't get anywhere else. What a lovely, natural look. :)

  27. Krystal, your pumps are out of control! I've been looking for a pair of black platforms as awesome as those. Jealous much? Um, yeah.
By the way, you look so happy now that you're in California... not that you didn't look happy before, but it just seems like your move has been good to you. I can relate. When I moved this past July mine did the same for me. Sometimes people need a fresh start...

  33. haha this made me laugh. I feel that way about the person keeping a beautiful greyhound locked up in her apartment all day while she goes out and does whatever she does. I feel for the little guy, but he whines all day. Some people don't deserve pets.

And I am in love with these shoes. I went straight to the steve madden website to drool some more. I'm a bit afraid of that heel though... you make it look like nothing... but 4 inches plus an inch platform... yow!
